Ben Bishop Lost His Two Front Teeth After a Shot Hit Him...With His Mask On

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen that happen before. Peter Holland wrists it, hits Bishop in the mask, and next thing you know, poof, teeth are gone. Sure hockey players lose their chompers all the time, but goalies after taking wristers to the mask? That’s a new one. The announcers didn’t seem to have a clue what was going on, until Bishop opened his mouth and gave his new million dollar smile.

I would say it’s that was some bad luck for Bishop, but if you play hockey and have all your real teeth, do you really play hockey at all? He’s probably walking around practice today with a little extra pep in his step, feeling real good about himself, flashing that smile to anyone and everyone. Plus he stayed in the game and won 7-3, so all in all, a pretty good night.
